Well rehabilitation is another option if your yield has declined over time. Some of the causes of this be iron bacteria, (rust build-up plugging screens or perforations in the casing) or mineral and scale build up causing similar problems.

A PH test and video inspection will tell which actions need to be taken to correct the problem. If optional, we will clean your existing well and restore it to near original condition.

Wells are removed from service for a number of reasons, including construction of a replacement well, failure of the well to produce safe drinking water, failure to meet state codes and standards, or perhaps the relocation of a septic system.

An abandoned well can directly channel surface contaminates into the groundwater if not properly filled with an impermeable material. Normally this contaminated water is naturally purified in the upper layers of the soil; however, if the well is not properly abandoned, the water may bypass this action and contaminate the groundwater.

Schrader Well Drilling will seal off the abandoned well to meet and exceed all state guidelines in order to prevent contamination of the groundwater source.
